- Description
- The Library of Congress intends to issue delivery orders against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew subscriptions with Engineering Information, Inc. for the continued use and access of their databases by the following FEDLINK members: ADBV. Engineering Information offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary engineering databases in the world. The Ei Compendex, electronic version of the print Engineering Index, provides summaries of technical reports, journal articles and conference papers and proceedings. The Ei databases are available in electronic form either via online, Internet access or CD-Rom; print versions are also available. Ei is also offering the Engineering Information Village, a virtual community for engineers that is designed to keep you abreast of latest developments in the field and to assist in research in relevant sites on the World Wide Web. Over 15,000 relevant sites are listed as well as full text of journals and weekly updates on a wide array of engineering topics. If an item is retrieved that is of interest, the article can be ordered via the document delivery service and delivered via first-class mail, internet e-mail, fax or rush service. Service will be continued through September 30, 2003. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. No telephone calls will be accepted. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No award will be based on any offer or proposal received in response to this notice. (See Note 22).
