- Description
- The Library of Congress intends to issue a delivery order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew a subscription with United Communication Group for the continued use and access of their database by the Following FEDLINK Member: NGIC). United Communications Group's Periscope service provides access to the following databases: USNI Military Database, DOD Blue Tops, Daily Defense News Capsules, and Special Reports. It is a comprehensive source of unclassified defense and military news and information. The Periscope service includes in-depth information on nation's orders of battle, complete equipment listings, and detailed descriptions for weapons systems and platforms. The Periscope Daily Defense News Capsules is available under a "site license" that allows redistribution to a maximum of 25 clients at one site via a LAN. PERISCOPE News, Full and Industry Editions, is available via either dial-up or Internet delivery. Service will be continued through September 30, 2003. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. No telephone calls will be accepted. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No award will be based on any offer or proposal received in response to this notice. (See Note 22).
