- Description
- The Library of Congress intends to issue delivery orders against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew subscriptions with Questel/Orbit, Inc. (OR) for the continued use and access of their database by the following FEDLINK Members: DCPS & PTTA. Questel/ORBIT Search Services provide online access to scientific, technical, chemical and patent information from over 80 databases. Questel/ORBIT offers the most comprehensive collection of patent databases available online and is a leading provider of materials, energy, chemical and environmental files. The QPAT-US database is available on an annual or a month to month subscription basis and is also available via the Internet. Questel/ORBIT provides full service gateways to the Official Airlines Guide (OAG) and the World Patents Index - Markush (WPIM). The OAG provides menu driven access to air fares, flight schedules, arrival, departure and gate information and general travel industry information. WPIM is a chemical graphics retrieval software for Markush structures as defined in patents from around the world. Service will be continued through September 30, 2003. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. No telephone calls will be accepted. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No award will be based on any offer or proposal received in response to this notice. (See Note 22).
