- Description
- The Library of Congress intends to issue delivery orders against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew subscriptions with CCH, Incorporated for the continued use and access of their databases by the following FEDLINK members: CRSV. CCH offers ACCESS which is an electronic legal research and information retrieval system for tax law research and financial and estate planning applications. CCH's current focus is federal and state taxation with the following databases or "libraries" available: CCH News Library -- summaries of federal and state tax developments reflected in CCH's Tax Day Report. Federal Taxes Library -- electronic versions of the following CCH publications: Standard Federal Tax Reporter, Federal Estate and Gift Tax and Federal Excise Tax Reporter, Tax Transactions Library, IRS publications and manual. Also contains full texts of the current IRS code, court decisions from 1913 - present, IRS rulings and Cumulative Bulletin Documents. Recent addition of Federal Tax Library 4 available on a yearly subscription basis. Federal Tax Archives Library -- the IRS Code and explanatory tax materials from 1978 to the present. State Taxes Library -- electronic versions of previous editions of the CCH State Tax Reporter and full text of state tax laws. Electronic Legislative Search System (ELSS) -- ELSS database, a legislative bill tracking system, contains CCH's summary notices of new bill introductions and their corresponding legislative histories for the current regular and special legislative sessions of the 50 states and the U.S. Congress. Many of the current online databases are available on diskette or in CD- ROM fixed media formats including the FAR and DFAR. Service will be continued through September 30, 2003. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. No telephone calls will be accepted. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No award will be based on any offer or proposal received in response to this notice. (See Note 22).
