Description

The U. S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.30-21 with New Horizons Computer Training Center, 5 Old Concord Rd., Burlington, MA 01803. The USSS requires specialized training courses scheduled to begin 09/09/02. Based on extensive USSS experience, this contractor is the only contractor that has the known expertise to present the needed Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) in combination with Network+ and A+ and PC Support Technician with Network+ and A+ training specifically packaged for the USSS at USSS facilities and with special portable training capabilities able to meet the extremely short training start time for these requirements as it relates to the USSS protective mission responsibilities. Companies that can provide the above listed services must provide a full capability statement on or before 09/04/02. No quotation/proposal received in response to this notice shall be considered since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotation/Proposal. All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole-source contract. See Note 22. Note 22 is modified to read 3 days in lieu of 45 days.
