- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, National Wildlife Health Center, 6006 Schroeder Road, Madison, Wisconsin anticipates awarding a non competitive purchase order to Wildlife Information Network, The Royal Veterinary College, Royal College Street, London NWI OUT, England for the creation of an publicly accessible Internet Information Resource on Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) in deer and elk to be delivered eight months after receipt of order. The Center has worked extensively with the Wildlife Information Network in the development of the WILDPro modules. This format has proven to be successful in combining information from a wide range of sources and types and presenting them in a user-friendly environment. Continuing these collaborative efforts will allow seamless integration with previously completed work. Based on information available at this time, the Government considers this requirement to be a sole source. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; no competitive RFQ will be available. The anticipated award date is 09/30/2002, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 334611. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
