- NA The Directorate of Contracting Fort Campbell intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Ultrax, Inc for the purchase of software controlled automatic test sets (SCATS). This software will be used to test instrumentation, stimuli and power signa ls to the CP-1446/A. The software will provide test printouts consisting of all test results (both pass and fail), provide real time, on screen test results for each test including actual and expected output, display the accepted measurements and waveform s versus the actual acquired values. The software shall detect a failure, stop the test, display the failure, maintain the test configuration, display corrective actions and allow probing of the circuit using the probe connections provided by the hardware . The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541511. Procurement is solicited and awarded on an unrestricted basis. This sole source procurement is under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition. THIS NOTI CE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be fur nished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Reponses received will be evaluated and a determination by the Government of acceptability will be made. If no responses are received, the Government will proc eed with the sole source to Ultrax, Inc. Responses are due by 11 Sep 2002, 2:00 pm. (CST).
