Description

NA Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract to Credit Suisse First Boston HOLT, 10 S. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL. For the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Industrial Policy, the contractor will provide analytical tools leveraging a g lobal database to help the Government understand both the implications of policy on capital markets and effect of developments within the capital markets on the defense policy, the defense industry and firms within the industry. Further the Government will use financial analysis tools to evaluate whether mergers will present problems to the DoD that could effect national security or the competitive health and viability of the defense industry and firms within the industry. The primary focus will be to provi de a comprehensive personal computer based valuation software utilizing a sophisticated proprietary discounted cash-flow model that permits the analysis of companies, combinations of companies and divisions, industries and overall markets. The proposed per iod of performance shall be one year with options to extend. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation will be available. This announcement is for information only. See Note 22.
