Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F1335922260100 is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-07 and DCN 20020531.This solicitation is unrestricted.This acquisition falls under Standard Industry Classification number 3625, the North American Industry Classification System 335313, and the Business Size Standard or number of employees under this code is 750 employees. This solicitation will consist of one line item. Line Item 0001, (1) the contractor is to supply all labor, materials, tools and transportation necessary to provide: 3ea. General Electric Low Voltage Breakers, Model Number AKR-10D?50 with MVT + trip unit , 1600 - amp trip, manual fixed CT'S and 2 stage auxiliary LSGT. Existing Switchgear: General Electric Low Voltage Switchgear Model AKD8 Outdoor Walk In Lineup 277/480 Volts AC/Wye 4000 Amp Copper Bus. Contract # DACA63-89-C-0139 Installation # 75D704902, Dist. Order # 810-900559AA; three (3) blank compartments. The items are required to modify existing electrical switchgear at building 316 to provide emergency electrical power to the new operations center building 331, Medina Regional Security Operations Center (MRSOC), Lackland Training Center, Lackland AFB, TX. 78243. All purchases must interface with existing GE Switchgear. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52,212-1, Instructions to Offerors / Commercial. The place of inspection by the Government and delivery point shall be LACKLAND AFB, TX 78243. FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item applies to this solicitation. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. After offerors have been determined technically acceptable overall price is the evaluation factor. The following additional FAR provisions and clauses do apply: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. Quotes without this provision will not be considered. FAR 52.225-1, BUY AMERICAN ACT- BALANCE OF PAYMENTS and FAR 52.212-4 are incorporated by reference and will be incorporated into the Purchase Order by reference. A statement that the clause at. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, to include clauses (b), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (17), (22): DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. (CCR). The CCR website is http://ccr.gov. Vender must be actively registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
