- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial services. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. A written solicitation will be available on this web site on or about the last week of September 2002. This procurement is restricted to Small Business, as a set aside for concerns with an average annual income of $4.0 million or less.(Based on NAICS) The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code (North American indusry Classification System)for this project is 812320. The contractor shall provide management, supervision, personnel, equipment, tools,supplies, labor, vehicles, transportation, and applicable licenses, permits and/or certificates necessary to perform Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services for Wilford Hall Medical Center, and associated buildings at Lackland AFB, Texas. The anticipated period of performance is 01 Jan 2003, through 30 Sept 2003 for the Basic Period, plus four option years, 01 Oct 03-30 Sept 04, 01 Oct 04-30 Sept 05, 01 Oct 05-30 Sept 06, and 01 Oct 06 through 30 Sept 07. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. CCR must be obtained before award can be made. Once contractors have downloaded the solicitation and it's attachments, they will submit written offers by mail or personnal delivery to: 37 CONS/LGCBB, attention Bruce Taylor, 1655 Selfridge Avenue, Lackland AFB TX 78236-5253. The tentative due date for offers is around 30 October 2003, however the specific date will be set by the solicitation. A Statement of Work will on be this web site around the time of solicitation release.
