Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation F44600-02-T-0091 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. (iv) The NAICS code is 812332 with a size standard averaged over a one-year period of $12M. (v) Langley AFB plans to procure coveralls rental/laundering/maintenance for five (5) years (1 October 2002- 30 September 2006). See attached Statements of Work (SOW) for complete details. (vi) The following requirements are applicable: CLIN #0001 Coverall rental for the Base Year period of 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003; Sub Clin #0001AA coverall rental for 1 LRS for the Base Year effective 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, weekly rate x 52 weeks = $____; with a Sub Clin #0001AB coverall rental for 1 CES for the Base Year effective 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, yearly rate = $____, CLIN #1001 Option Year One effective 1 October 2003 through 30 September 2004; Sub Clin #1001AA weekly rate x 52 weeks = $____; with a Sub Clin #1001AB yearly rate = $____, CLIN #2001 Option Year Two effective 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2005; Sub Clin #2001AA weekly rate x 52 weeks = $____; with a Sub Clin #2001AB yearly rate = $____, CLIN #3001 Option Year Three effective 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006; Sub Clin #3001AA weekly rate x 52 weeks = $____; with a Sub Clin #3001AB yearly rate = $____, CLIN #4001 Option Year Four effective 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006; Sub Clin #4001AA weekly rate x 52 weeks = ____; with a Sub Clin #4001AB yearly rate = $____. Include offer on company letterhead, comprehensive product catalog and/or product samples, and letter stating affirmative delivery start date on 1 October 2002. Evaluation will be based on quality of product, price, and delivery: quality of product and delivery are more important than price. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises the option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 5 years 6 months; this clause is hereby incorporated in full text. (xiii) N/A.
