- Description
- The Flathead National Forest is advertising a Pre-Solicitation Prospectus for construction/reconstruction trail work on the Spotted Bear Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. The project consists of 3.8 miles of trail construction/reconstruction work including clearing and grubbing, excavation, switchbacks, tread work, waterbars, ditches, culverts, turnpike construction and repair, and shallow stream fords. The solicitation is not currently available and is scheduled to be issued the winter of 2003 (pending availability of funds). A Pre-bid Tour is not scheduled; however, prospective quoters are encouraged to visit the project on their own prior to winter conditions closing the area. Preliminary Vicinity Map, Project Map, and an Estimated Summary of Quantities are available from the Flathead National Forest.
