- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 5049, 500 employees. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Fort Dix, NJ. Responses to this Request For Quote (RFQ) must be received no later than 4 Sep 02, 16:00hrs, Eastern Standard Time. Delivery and finance addresses will be furnished upon award. An award will be made to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable and ability to meet delivery schedule. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, instruction to offerors commercial items; 52.212-2, evaluation of offers/commercial items; 52.212-3, offeror representations and certifications--commercial items; 52.212-4, contract terms and conditions-commercial items, and 52.212-5, contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders--commercial items, and 52.225-3, Buy American Act. All potential contractors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration. Registration must be done immediately upon retrieval of this synopsis in order to be considered for award. Offerors shall submit their Duns Number, Tax Identification Number, Cage Code, and business size with quotation. All other applicable clauses will be incorporated into the purchase order.
