- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F1040221840100 is issued as a request for proposal (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. The NAIC code is 334515 and the size standard is $3 million. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. If there are no offers received from a small business concern, this acquisition for small business set-aside may be dissolved and the acquisition will open to all responsive bidders. NOTE: This acquisition will not be reposted to the Electronic Posting System if the acquisition is dissolved for 100% small business consideration. Timing upgrade equipment, MFG TrueTime Inc or EQUAL: This solicitation contains five line items as follows: Item 1-(1 qty) Rubidium Oscillator p/n: 560-5203-3 Item 2-(1 qty) High stability oscillator 5600 p/n 560- 5203-2 Item 3-(1 qty) High quad transmitter card p/n 560-5145 Item 4-(2 qty) Fiber Optic IO card p/n 560-5143-1 Item 5-(2 qty) Oscillator IO card p/n 560-5187-3 Item 6-(1 qty) Cesium prs dsi outputs p/n prs45-0001 FOB Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition, with an addendum. Multiple offerors and awards are hereby deleted from this solicitation. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm until 31 Oct 02. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the most responsive, responsible offers whose offer is the most economical. Offers should be limited to 3 pages to include the Offeror Representation and Certifications. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications Commercial, with its offer. The following clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212.4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, with addendum; 52.212-3, Notice to Supplier and 52.232-18, Availability of Funds.
