Description
Item 0001: NSN 5305-00-228-3903; Bolt, Machine; P/N 67B13117-7; Annual Estimated Quantity: 15,100 each; Delivery: 61 days after date of order. Item 0002: NSN 5306-00-416-9358; Bolt, Machine; P/N 67B13117-9; Annual Estimated Quantity: 12,000 each; Delivery: 38 days after date of order. NOTE: These items are not commercial items and shall be manufactured in accordance with the part numbers cited. Acceptable source for the above part numbers is AME International Inc. (0W8V2) Sanford, FL. Offerors not cited as acceptable sources in the procurement item description are required to obtain source approval from the design control activity. Source approval requests / technical data packages must be submitted to DSCP with the offer. The acquisition includes a two-year base ordering term and three one-year option ordering terms. The Government anticipates award of a fixed price with EPA contract resulting from this solicitation. Prices must be submitted on an FOB Destination basis. The solicitation will include a Surge Option Requirement. First Article Testing is required. These are critical items and source inspection is required. The Government intends to solicit on an Unrestricted basis for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Type contract. Past Performance will be evaluated using DLA's Automated Best Value System (ABVS). Anticipated Solicitation Issuance Date is on/about 13 September 2002. See Numbered Note 9. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation.
