- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis Airborne Video Recording system. NAWCWD is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Award shall be made in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation N68936-02-R-0086 is being issued as a request for quotation that will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06, DCN 20020426 and class deviation 2001-00002. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to procure the following items for use in outdoor tests, capable of meeting environments of military platform per MIL-STD 810E. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Contract line item number (CLIN) 0001, Airborne Video Receptacle, 1 each; 9.3"Lx6.5"Wx4.4"h or less; 11 lbs or less; 28VDC, 40@ nom; convection (no cooling is available); minimum operating temperature: -40 degress C to +71 degrees C; unit must collect at least four channels of RS-170 video and two channels of audio; discrete and RS-422 control. CLIN 0002, Video Data Cartridge 6Gb Storage, 2 each for use with CLIN 0001. CLIN 0003, Media playback Device, 2 each debrief interface for PC playback with CLIN 0001. CLIN 0004, Main Video Playback Station, 1 each fully integrated video playback/achieving system. NAWS China Lake, CA FOB is Destination. Offeror must comply particularly with paragraphs b(8), b(10) and b(11) of the above provision.
