- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-20. The solicitation number is for F34601-03-M-49812. The solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). Closing date for quotations will be received at the issuing office until 3:00 PM on 20 Sept 2002. Source is (Cage 38443) MRC Bearings Inc., 402 Chandler Street, Jamestown NY 14701; (99207) General Electric Company, 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn MA 01910. Application: J-85-5 Engines, Noun: Bearing Roller, Annular Ball. Qty: 162 ea, Size and Dimension: 2? by ??. Predominant material of manufacture and/or manufacturing process: SAE 52100 steel. Form/Fit and function: This is the rear axis ?F? gear shaft bearing in the J85 accessory gearbox. The axis ?F? is an idler gear that is driven at 15,947 RPM in a counter-clock wise direction by the axis ?B? shaft gear. Place of delivery schedules acceptance is Tinker AFB OK (FB2039) with FOB origin. Required delivery schedules are as follows: 27 ea per month until shipped complete Mar 2003.
