- Description
- This synopsis is to provide notice of contract action that the Government intends to negotiate with Science Applications International Corporation on a sole source basis to provide operations for program/budget development, execution, development and maintenance of the Financial Information Resource System and Legacy Budget Systems at Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, AL for a one month , 1 August 2002 through 31 August 2002. The extension is necessary in order to continue existing services until a new contract is awarded. The Government proposes to award the extension to the incumbent contractor, Science Applications International Corporation under contract number F01600-01-F-8005. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. A solicitation is not available. Any responses to this synopsis must be received by close of business, 31 July 2002 NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-JUL-2002).
