- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration plans to award a purchase order to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) to facilitate the collection, development and dissemination of information on Asset Management practices. AASHTO has representatives from all States and commands a level of respect unparalleled in the transportation industry. The successful completion of the tasks identified in this agreement will require participation, resources and full cooperation of a majority of States who are active members of AASHTO. AASHTO is uniquely qualified to draw on and utilize the expertise and resources of their member States to participate in and compete the task required. Because of this relationship, AASHTO is the only known source that can provide the required service. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the award date is on or about September 11, 2002.
