- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to acquire using Simplified Acquisition Procedures ten kits providing audio/video surveillance equipment disguised in a smoke detector housing. The equipment consists of the following brand name (or equal) equipment: a smoke detector that has a high sensitivity MM12Z microphone and high resolution VC7B color camera video installed in the housing with necessary power and signal connectors; an additional VC7B color camera with power and signal connectors; an additional ESD120E4 B&W camera with power and signal connectors; an assortment of 10 different lenses; a LCD410 4? color LCD monitor; a Panasonic AGTL950 time lapse recorder; (2) custom fitted (to equipment listed) 1550 Pelican shipping cases; a 45735A Calrad 12 VDC power supply; 200 foot spool of multi-conductor single cable with power and signal connectors on both ends; and all other cables and connectors necessary to interconnect all of the included equipment. SSA will not pay for information received in response to this announcement. SSA will issue a Request For Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for this requirement to interested parties. Responses to this announcement must be received by SSA within 7 days of its publication
