- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional informatin included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest issue of the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued on a unrestricted basis and the it is the Governments intent to award as a sole source to Thermo Jarrell Ash Corp (see numbered note 22), NAICS Code 811219, size standard $6.0M. Trident Refit Facility, Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Ga requires a contract for Fiscal Year 2003 for maintenance on Thermo Jarrell Ash Spectrometers; see the following statement of work: TWO (2) SPECTROMETERS, MODEL ICAP 61E, S/N 163390 AND MODEL ICAP 61C, S/N 16882 LOCATION: TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY CHEMICAL LAB BLDG 5085, RM 102 NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE KINGS BAY, GA 31547 FULL SERVICE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT THERMO ELEMENTAL SPECTROMETER TO INCLUDE ONE (1) PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CALL AND UNLIMITED NUMBER OF EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE CALLS COVERING ALL LABOR, TRAVEL, AND MATERIAL COST DURING THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. THE MAINTENANCE DOES NOT INCLUDE ITEMS WHICH ARE NORMALLY CONSIDERED EXPENDIBLES. RESPONSE TIME TO SERVICE CALLS IS WITHIN 72 HOURS. SERVICES ARE TO BE PERFORMED DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 7:00 AM THROUGH 3:30 PM, EXCLUDING ALL GOVERNMENT HOLIDAYS. ALL SERVICES ARE TO BE COMPLETED DURING THOSE HOURS, UNLESS OTHERWISE AUTHORIZED BY THE GOVERNMENT POINT OF CONTACT: MIKE KING, PH 912/673-2925 EXT 3102. INVOICE FOR SERVICES PERFORMED ARE TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY SERVICE TICKETS STATING DATE OF SERVICE, DELIVERY ORDER NUMBER, AND MUST BE SIGNED BY AN AUTHORIZED GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVE AT THE TIME SERVICES ARE COMPLETED.
