- NA This geotechnical investigation is for the purpose of obtaining geotechnical data that will be used to perform operations and maintenance work on the dikes for future dredging contracts. The contractor is required to locate and drill boreholes, obtain undi sturbed samples, perform laboratory tests, and report the results in accordance with the Scope of Work and referenced standards. The contractor is also required to establish locations and elevations of the boreholes using the three existing benchmarks on Yellow House Creek Disposal Area. All surveying, drilling, logging, undisturbed sampling, and laboratory testing shall be performed by the contractor or by an approved subcontractor. The site is accessible only by water. Solicitation documents will be a vailable on or about September 13, and quotations must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on September 24. Requests for copies of the documents may be faxed to 843-329-2320 (attention: Grace Dorn), or mailed to U.S.Army Corps of Engineers, Attention: Contracting D ivision, 69-A Hagood Avenue, Charleston, SC 29405-5107. Telephone requests will not be honored. Contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registry (CCR)prior to award of any contract. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
