- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ), Solicitation number F05611-02-T-0059, in accordance with FAR parts 12 & 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. CLIN 0001: Vector III Harness and Container System, V357M Size OR EQUAL with custom color and side wall logo (logo lettering is CG Times font, white embroidery, 2-1/2 inches high lettering & total length of all lettering is 9 inches) as specified in Attachment 1 to this posting, Variable Geometry Harness, BOC, Centerline Collapsible Pilot Chute, and Reserve Static Line. Quantity: 20 each, Unit Price $__________, Total Amount $__________. IAW FAR 6.302-1(c), this is a Brand Name Or Equal Acquisition. FOB for this RFQ is Destination. The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items; 53.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic funds Transfer Payment; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes for Executive Orders?Commercial Items. Additional clauses cited within Far Clause 52.212-5 that apply to this solicitation are (b)12, 13, 14, and 15. The following DFARS clauses also apply to this solicitation: 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status of Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, Nov 1995; 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 1980); 252.225-7000, buy American Act, Balance of Payments Program Certificate (Sep 1999).
