- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number F04605-02-T-0005 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 235110 with $12,000,000 size standard. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to perform water treatment services of closed loop chilled water systems, closed loop hot water systems, closed condenser systems, cooling towers and steam systems at March Air Reserve Base CA in accordance with commercial practices and the attached Statement of Work dated July 2002. CLIN 0001, basic period (1Oct 02-30Sep03). CLIN 0002, Option 1(1Oct03-30Sep04). CLIN 0003, Option 2 (1Oct04?30Sep05), CLIN 0004, Option 3 (1Oct 05-30Sep06). CLIN 0005, Option 4 (1Oct06-30Sep05). Contractor?s quotations shall specify monthly unit price and total amounts for each CLIN. A site visit will be conducted on 14 Aug 02 at 1000 and all contractors are encouraged to attend. Contractors planning to attend the site visit are requested to email the name of their company along with the name of the individuals who will be attending the site visit to martha.o?donnell@march.af.mil no later than 13 Aug 02 so that paper work for base access can be processed.
