- Description
- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Computer Corporation of America for Maintenance Support Renewal. The Department of Commerce (DOC), Office of Computer Services (OCS) has the need for maintenance support for mainframe Database software used to support a wide variety of customers and applications. These applications include the Export Control Automated Support System (ECASS), Procurement applications, and Enforcement support applications for the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). These applications, in addition to many others that are supported by the OCS franchise, are dependent upon the Model 204 database software. This software has been installed at DOC since 1972 and is the support software for a wide variety of database applications. Period of Performance will be with the base year beginning on 10/01/2002 through four option years ending 09/30/2007. This acquisition will be negotiated in accordance with FAR Part 13 and has an estimated value of less than $1,000,000.
