- Description
- The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This action is for the research and development of "smart coatings" for use on military equipment. The objective is to develop coatings with nanomachines and nanocapsules containing corrosion inhibiting and self-healing chemicals. See Numbered Note 22.
