- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire services to perform administrative tasks for the Personnel Property Shipping Office (PPSO) located at the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) Compound, Philadelphia following the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This acquisition is being processed under the "test program for certain commercial items" found at FAR Subpart 13.5. Services will include entering data to automated system, establishing and maintaining files, processing, monitoring and expediting personal property shipment, and customer service. It is intended that solicitation N00140-02-R-4033 will be set-aside for exclusive participation by small businesses. The resultant solicitation shall include a one-year period of performance. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of the solicitation. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the RFP. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard are 561110 and $6M, respectively. The solicitation will be made available electronically, upon its release, at the NECO web address: www.neco.navy.mil. All responsible sources may download the solicitation and submit a proposal, which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia.
