- NA This solicitation is for the maintenance of heat and air conditioning systems, Family Housing, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. This solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) FAR 12.6. This acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. The SIC Code is 7623. Size standard is $3.5 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about 29 August 2002. The Contractor shall provide all plant, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, personnel and quality control required to provide heat ing and air conditioning systems maintenance on family housing units at Fort Sill, OK. The service shall be IAW all federal and state laws, regulations, and standard industry practices. The contractor shall operate a call reception desk with a local phon e number to receive calls from housing residents. The phone shall be answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The resulting contract will be a 12 months Base, (1 Oct 2002 or date of award whichever is later through 30 Sep 2003), and four 12-months options to be executed by the Government. The Government does not intend to make multiple awards. Award will be made based upon the best value to the Government IAW FAR 13.106-2(b). The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical, past perfo rmance anc price. Offers are due no later than 4:00 p.m., 26 September 2002. Facsimile or electronically submitted proposals are not authorized. Offerors agree to hold prices firm for 60 days after the date specified for receipt of offers. A site visit has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m., 9 September 2002. Anyone wishing to visit the site should do so at that time.
