- ********** 27 AUG 02 A revised Product List has been posted. Contractor will be responsible for the removal of old equipment, however, the equipment will remain the property of the government. Additonally the due date for quotes will be Friday 6 September 02.************ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation/synopsis reference number is GPC TWCF (OG) 341800 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. This requirement is not currently funded. Award will be made if funds become available. Pricing must be valid through 30 Sep 02 The associated NAICS code is 443130 with a $6.0 million size standard. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quotation for all parts and materials found in the attached Parts List to include delivery and installation of the equipment. It is not the Governments intent to make any item in this Parts List a Brand Name requirement. Any item listed by Brand Name may be substituted for an equal product. If the offeror substitutes items listed in the Part List, then the offeror shall submit specifications, literature, catalog cuts, or brochures. A mandatory site visit will be conducted on Monday, 19August 2002 at 1:30 p.m. All interested contractors shall come to the Dorchester Gate Entrance (Front Gate) at Charleston AFB by 1:10 pm where they will be met by SSgt Kaia Olbino to get signed onto the base.
