- Description
- The VA Medical Centers in Salem, Virginia and Beckley, West Virginia have the need for a contractor to provide on-site Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) services with a mobile scanner to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs. It is the VA_s intent to solicit offers and award one or more contracts on a competitive basis. Services will be needed for two days a week in Salem and one day a week in Beckley. Approximately 10 patients will be referred each service day at each site. Services shall be performed by technologists registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART). VA staff radiologists will provide interpretations. The VA will provide utility hook ups and pads at both sites. The NAICS code is 621512. Size standard is $11.5M. Contract period will be twelve months from the date of award. Solicitation packages will be available on or about August 30, 2002. This requirement is subject to the availability of FY03 funds.
