- THIS SOLICITATION HAS A NEW RESPONSE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 5, 2002. SEE AMENDMENT 02 FOR DETAILS. CONTACT GEORGIA TURNER OR BOB KING FOR TECHNICAL QUESTIONS (530) 573-2696. The intent of this solicitation is to construct a 480 square foot wood framed toilet building. This includes excavation and backfill, concrete walk and connection to existing utilities. Demolition of an existing 400 square foot toilet building, construction of a stabilized path and revegetation re included as optional bid items. The estimated price range is $100,000 to $250,000. Proposals are due on 8/19/02 at 10 am. There will be no pre-proposal meeting or tour. Interested parties may visit project site: The Kiva Beach and Picnic Area is located off of Highway 89 on the sore of Lake Tahoe, California. It is west of Camp Richardson and east of the US Forest Service Visitor Center, adjacent to the Tallac Historic Site.
