- Description
- The intent of this solicitation and any resultant performance-based contracts is to obtain real estate appraisal services from Professionally Designated, State General Certified appraisers on properties located within the Intermountain and the Northern Regions of the Forest Service. These two regions include the states of Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, North & South Dakato, California and Colorado. Region 4 of the Forest Service takes in only very small areas of California and Colorado. Region 4 anticipates very limited appraisal work in these states. The Forest Service intends to award up to 20 contracts to offerors whose offer are the most advantageous to the Forest Service, as determined to meet the needs of the Forest Service and through evaluation. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, supplies, transporation, licenses and services to perform all professional appraisal services listed herein. Appraisal services includes, but may not be limited to, appraisals, consultations, market surveys, and appraisal review. Offerors may submit price proposals for one, two or all states listed in the Schedule of Items in the Request for Proposal commensurate with State Certification and credential requirements. Prices per day (daily rates) for appraisal services are to include total cost to the Government per day, including: salary, travel, per diem, publishing, photographs, telephone, fax, office services, and other related expenses such as timber cruise and valuation where applicable. Pricing for all years for a particular state must be provided when pricing the state. PROPERTY TYPE AND COMPLEXITY- Offerors may propose to provide appraisal services for any or all property types at any or all levels of complexity (required technical ability) in selected or all states included in the Schedule of Items. This contract will be base year and four option years. The proposed contract is 100% total set-asided for small business.This solicitation will be uploaded into FedBizOpps on September 13, 2002.*****
