- Description
- The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, work and facilities necessary to perform all operations, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The scope of work for this project includes replacing air heater tubes in three Erie City Iron Works boilers at the Clear AFS Central Heat and Power Plant. Tubes to be replaced are 2? OD, .083? wall thickness by 16? long. There are 1,070 tubes per boiler. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 234930 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This acquisition is being solicited under full and open competition conditions. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE VIA CD-ROM. AMENDMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE INTERNET ONLY. Award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract and the total performance period is 150 calendar days. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.edi.disa.mil to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 8 Jul 02.
