Description
Synopsis: This is a noncompetitive acquisition to Lockheed Martin Corp. Missiles and Fire Control - Orlando FL, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements, and will be a firm fixed price "requirements contract" for 5 years, which will include ordering periods for each year. This requirement is for long-term worldwide LANTIRN depot level repair of end items applicable to FMS and USAF AN/AAQ-13/-14/(V1)/-20 Navigation and Targeting Pods. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 04 Apr 2002 with an approximate response date of 03 May 2002. No paper copies will be mailed The Government does not have the data rights, or manufacturing knowledge to permit acquisition from other sources. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
