- This notice is a combined synopsis/quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation, and therefore, a formal written document will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% small business participation. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334220 and the number of employees is 750. The Television-Audio support Activity is tasked to purchase the following equipment: Item 1) Six (6) each R.L. Drake Co. p/n: PSM-121, Power Supply; provides 5 and 12VDC to Drake modules through 37-Pin ?D? connector; power input 100 to 240VAC, 50/60HZ, auto ranging; comes with 6FT IEC power cord, and 12VDC cooling fan; F/U/W Drake RMM-12 rack mountable chassis for the Drake Family of mini-rack products, Item 2) Six (6) each Drake p/n: VMM806AG, Video Modulator; Agile; Vestigial sideband; Heterodyne; CATV channels 2-125 or broadcast channels 2-69 selectable; utilizes BTSC stereo baseband or 4.5 MHZ Aural if input; DC PWR input: Plus 12 VDA at 189 MA; plus 5 VDC at 380 MA, Item 3) Ten (10) each Drake p/n: RMM12/System, Modulator System; modulator chassis with the following modules: 1EA 12-port chassis Drake model RMM12, 1EA Power Supply Drake model PSM-121, and 12EA Agile Vedeo Modulators Drake model VMM806AG; PWR RQMTS: 120 to 240VAC, 50/60HZ 9Auto Ranging). NOTE: System is upgradeable to BTSC Stereo and Digital QAM Modules, and Item 4) Ten (10) each Drake p/n: 1601PC, RF Passive Combiner; combiner permits combining of outputs of up to 16 Audio/Video Modulators, Channel Processors, and other RF equipment onto 1 single coax cable for distribution of CATV; output can be combined to increase capacity; -20DB monitor output provided on front panel of combiner; rack mountable 1RU; 1.75-IN x 19-IN; frequency range 5-60MHZ; insertion loss 19DB nominal; port-port Isolation 30DB; maximum input 60DBMV each input; impedance 75 OHMS; return loss 16DB from 54-500MHZ, 12DB minimum from 550 to 600MHZ. The equipment shall be delivered FOB destination to the Television-Audio Support Activity, McClellan, California 95652 not later than 60 days after receipt of order. The Brand named items have been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government?s minimum requirements but are not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 05 Sep 02, 1300 local time. DFARS 252.204-7004, 252.212-7001, and FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items also apply. The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of the lowest price technically acceptable offer.
