- NA The Government intends to award a Firm fixed Price, Five (5)Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) as a result of Reverse Auction procedures for Overspeed, Switches, P/O: 15kw thru 500kw Diesel Engine Driven Generator Sets. Award will be made by the lowest price submitted under the Reverse Auction technique. The date of the Reverse Aution is TBD. Those offerors/bidders invided to participate in the Reverse Auction will be notified and issued Passwords and Login to be used to access the auction. Only bidders determined to be Small Business Set-A-Side should respond to this synopsis, other bidders will not be considered. This acquisition is to procure an estimated two thousand six hundred thirty five (2,635) over a possible five year period. Overs peed switches, NSN: 5930-01-246-9266 IAW Drawing Number: 70-1105-24; overspeed switches, NSN: 5930-01-246-9265 IAW Drawing Number: 70-1105-56; and overspeed switches, NSN: 5930-01-268-0407 IAW Drawing Number: 70-1105-13. First Article requirements will als o be included in the posted solicitation. PACKAGING AND PACKING shall be IAW the contractor's best commercial packaging and ASTM-D-3951. A solicitation package is expected to be issued o/a 13 September 2002. A drawing package may be requested by contacting both the contract specialist via electronic mail. The assigned Solicitation number is DAAB07-02-B-D627. The US Army communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the IBOP Website to allow electronic transmittals of Request for Proposal (RFQ's ) and Invitations for Bid (IFB's) from CECOM to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at (hhtp://abop.monmouth.army.mil).
