Description

NA This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial off the shelf items prepared in accordance with the format in Far subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION ; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is DAAB07-02-Q-D645. Solicitation requirements and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars. This acquisition is fo r the procurement of thirty-two (32) each Fuel Tank, NSN: 2910-01-150-0729, IAW commercial part number 70-1052. A drawing package may be requested by contacting the Contract Specialist via electronic mail. Delivery is within 90 days after awards, FOB Desti nation to New Cumberland, PA 17070 and Stockton, CA 95296. Early delivery at no cost to the Government is encouraged. PACKAGING AND PACKING shall be IAW the contractor's best commercial packaging, ASTM-D3951-98. Bar Code Markings are required IAW AIM BC1 USSC 39 and MIL-STD=129N. The contract type is FIRM FIXED PRICE. This acquisition is a COMPETITIVE HUBZONE. Offerors are requested to provide quotes for Contract Line Item Number (CLINS) 0001AA and 0001AB, (NSN: 2930-01-150-0729) quantity thirty-two (32) F uel Tank and CLIN 0002AA as a 100% Option Quantity Valid for a period of 180 days from date of signed order. Award will be based upon the quote from the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commerc ial, applies to this acquisition. The successful offeror shall complete FAR Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, which would otherwise be included in a written solicitation, prior to award. Offerors are advised t hat applicable clauses shall be incorporated into the award document. Quotes are due not later than 1:30 PM, EDT on 13 September 2002.
