- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition. The required service is to provide maintenance, repair and software updates necessary to maintain two (2) Steris Corp. sterilizers. This service will be conducted at Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance is 1 Oct 2002 ? 30 Sep 2003. Four one-year options may be awarded. The government intends to award on a sole source basis to Steris Corporation. Steris Corporation is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement since they are the original equipment manufacturer and must perform all maintenance/repairs on their equipment to maintain warranty integrity and operate in compliance with O.E.M. specifications. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-02-T-0270 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 8748, business size of $5.0M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 611710. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 03 Sep 02 at http://www.eps.gov.
