Description
a. Base Swimming Pool Maintenance: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F04605-02-T-0011, Base Swimming Pool Maintenance, March Air Reserve Base is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The contractor shall provide all material, equipment and labor necessary to maintain Large Swimming Pool at March ARB, CA for the period of 01 Oct 2002 to 30 Sep 2003. The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, local and Air Force regulations and directives concerning pool operations and the environment. Statement of Work (SOW) is included as an attachment. SOW 1.a AFOSH 48-14, AF INSTRUCTION 48-117, MARCH AIR RESERVE INSTRUCTION 48-101, can be viewed and available at http://afpubs.hq.af.mil. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside for SIC 7389 size standard is $5million. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotations: (i) price (ii) technical (iii) past performance, offerors must provide a minimum of three references with same/similar type work that is in the solicitation. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.eps.gov/. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendment (if any). Offeror must include a copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items, with their quotation. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Clauses, 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity and 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for workers with Disabilities applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year. The closing date for the request for quotation is Tuesday 10 Sep 2002 4:00 PM Pacific Standard time. Late quotations will not be accepted. Facsimile quotes will be accepted. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor who is not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program.
