- REPAIR F108 COMBUSTION CASE (MODULE #8). One-year requirements contract with 4 one-year options is contemplated. Item 0001: Input NSN 2840-01-262-0495PN, P/N: 9523M17G15/-G13 and/or P/N 9529M99G08/-G09. Output NSN 2840-01-262-0495PN, P/N: 9529M99G09. Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ): Basic, 1 each; Option I, 5 each; Option II, 3 each; Option III, 5 each; Option IV, 4 each. Applicable to: CFM 56-2B/F108 engines, KC-135R aircraft. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: Not to exceed (NTE) 5 each per month starting 30days ARO and receipt of reparables. An Initial Production Evaluation will be required, unless contractor has been previously approved by CFMI, and/or met engineering and production qualifications. Item Description: The Combustion Case is a fabricated structural weldment located between the HP compressor and LP Turbine. Combustion Case provides structural interface, transmits the engine axial loads, and provides gas flow path between the compressor and LPT. The Repair consists of rework/repair Combustion Case Assembly, clean, inspect, replace parts and repair other assembly components as required to output F-108 Combustion Case Assembly P/N 9529M99G09. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date is 10 SEP 02 and the estimated response date will be 10 OCT 2002.
