Description

A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. This procurement is being conducted as a 100 percent small business set aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562211. The size standard is 10.5 million dollars. This award is based on the availability of funds. Description of CLIN 0001 service Non-Personal: QTY (6545 LB) Provide all labor, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation and all other essentials necessary for infectious waste disposal services at the USAF Clinic on Holloman AFB, NM on a weekly basis. The period of performance for this contract is 1 October 2002 thru 30 September 2003. Additionally the contractor shall provide a certification of destruction to the clinic facility manager no later then 30 days after complete incineration. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about August 26, 2002 at the website www.eps.gov. (or, This notice is being issued concurrently with the solicitation). Paper copies will not be available. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registration requirements may be viewed via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR registration center at 1-888-227-2423. All responsible sources may submit a quotation via fax 505-572-7333 or call 505-572-7502 which shall be considered by the agency if received no later then 6 September 2002 at 12:00 noon mountain time.
