- WA PRA-MORA 13(3), REHAB BACKBONE RIDGE VIADUCT, Mt. Rainier National Park, Lewis County, Washington. Initial notice posted to FedBizOpps on August 13, 2002. BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION AS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. This work consists of rehabilitating an existing bridge. The project consists of contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; alteration of bridge; 660 ft soil erosion control devices; 31,000 lb steel structures; 300 sq yds shotcrete; 500 ft plastic fence; 1 temporary traffic signal; 80 flagger hours; and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 45 km northwest of Packwood, Washington. PRELIMINARY PLANS WILL BE ISSUED IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY AND WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD SOME TIME AFTER OCTOBER 15, 2002, BY ACCESSING FedBizOpps AT http://www1.eps.gov/spg/DOT/FHWA/WFL/DTFH70-02-B-00020/listing.html. WHEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS ARE ISSUED, THE INVITATION FOR BID (SPECIFICATIONS) AND BIDDER'S PACKET WILL ALSO BE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY AT THE ABOVE SITE.
