- Description
- The U.S. Border Patrol El Paso Air Operations, El Paso, Texas is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation EFO-2-Q-0021 is being issued as a "Request for Quotation" and shall be referenced on any quotation. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The NAICS code is 334511 with a business standard of 750 employees. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This contract action will result in a single award Firm-Fixed Price contract for the following ITT Industries repair parts. CLIN 0001: P/N F9800P Image Intensifier P/N 270143 5855-01-457-7710: 24 each $._________ each; CLIN 0002: Power Pack Assembly P/N 268465 5855-01-440-1765: 20 each $________ each; CLIN 0003 LPBP Mounting Bracket Kit P/N 268471-1 5340-01-439-8992: 2 each $________ each; and CLIN 0004 Battery Cartridge P/N 5008902 6160-01-372-5994: 2 each $_______ each. Delivery is to be FOB destination to the U.S. Border Patrol Operations and Maintenance Center, 7400 Meridian Place Suite A, Albuquerque, NM 87121. Delivery shall be within 220 days after award of the contract. Partial deliveries will be accepted. The provisions at FAR 15.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 12.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable. Paragraph (a), evaluation criteria is as follows: Award will be made to the responsible contractor with the lowest total price. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items along with the firm's DUNS number. applies to this acquisition with the following additional clauses. The Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Acquisition Regulation Clause, 2852.233-70-PROTEST FILED DIRECTLY WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE (JAN 1998) and FAR 52.233-3-Protest After Award.
