- Description
- The Forest Service requires armed security and loss prevention services for the Aerial Fire Depot located in Missoula, MT, Missoula Co. This performance-based project will be advertised under Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and will be solicited under Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561612. The size standard for this NAICS code is $10.5 million. The period of performance will be for 1 - twelve month base year with 2 one-year options. It is estimated that the Request for Quotes will be issued on or about October 1, 2002. Quotes will be due on or about November 1, 2002. The estimated start work date is January 1, 2003.
