Description

NA The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement to provide 12 co-located lodging rooms with kitchenettes, and furnished office space in Tooele, Utah in support of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) Treaty escort mission. This requirement i s from October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003 with options extending through September 30, 2005. the period. The lodging rooms will be continually occupied by a succession of inspectors and their escorts during this time period. The facilities must meet the following requirements: 1. Lodging rooms must be co-located; 2. Rooms must be located within a 30-minute drive of the Tooele Chemical Disposal Facility, Tooele, Utah to meet operational and shift requirements of the facility in performance of the CWC continuous monitoring mission; 3. Rooms must be in a low crime area; 4) Rooms must be located within a 15-minute drive to the following conveniences: laundry and dry-cleaning services, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping centers or shopping area s; 5. Rooms must contain or have unrestricted access to full-sized kitchens or kitchenettes for both inspectors and escorts; 6. The office space must be at least 150 square feet and located either at or adjacent to the lodging rooms; 7. The office space wi ll be used seven days a week from 6:00 AM until 11:00 PM; and 8. Parking spaces and a driver staging area capable of accommodating six vehicles. A full and open competitive solicitation will be issued on or about September 5, 2002.
