- Description
- DESC: The General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Technology Service, Region 3, Philadelphia intends to solicit for the acquisition of training services pertaining to BMC Software Distribution's products, and a Patrol software product. Specifically, GSA intends to purchase 5 commercially available Learning Cards for the use of the Defense Information Systems Agency, along with 80 Patrol Dashboard Virtual Circuit Add-Ons (DLC/ATM). BMC Software Distribution is the sole provider of Learning Cards and the virtual circuit. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ), GS-T03-02-R-0014. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This procurement is under NAICS 611420 and NAICS 421430. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (JUN 1999), with its offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (MAY 1999), is hereby incorporated by reference. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (MAY 1999), is hereby incorporated by reference; paragraphs and subparagraphs (a), (b) (1) (5) (11) (12) (13) (14) (15) (20) (22) (25), (c) (1) (2) (3), (d) and (e) apply to this solicitation and any resultant contract. GSAR Clause 552.212-71, Contract Terms and Conditions Applicable to GSA Acquisition of Commercial Items (MAR 1998) is hereby incorporated by reference; clauses 552.215-70, 552.228-70, 552.229-70, and 552.232-70 apply to this solicitation and any resultant contract. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. Signed and dated quotes (one original/two copies) must be submitted to the General Services Administration, FTS, Mid-Atlantic Region, 100 Penn Square East, 8th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107, ATTN: John Breen, at or before 4:00 PM (EDT) on 8/28/2002.
