- Correction: This action originally publicized on 7/8/02 as a sole source purchase to Washington University, Genome Sequencing Center, St. Louis, MO 63108 is amended to add the following information regarding what is being purchased. This procurement is for sequencing of approximately 20,700 clones derived from 2300 CDNAs each from nine (9) libraries prepared with MRNA from purified populations of germ cells and sertoli cells from mouse testis. These clones are to be arrayed at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the plates sent to the Washington University, Genome Sequencing Center. The arrayed clones will be subjected to Single-pass 5' sequencing. Selected clones will be used by NIEHS to prepare mouse testis microarrays to define cell types, cellular mechanisms and genes affected by reproductive toxicants and regulate development and function of male germ cells.
