- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a purchase order for services of a vendor to further develop diagnostics for surveillance of HIV variants, improve diagnostics for HIV variants that are of public health importance, and search for similar emerging retroviruses to ensure protection of the blood supply. This requirement involves human subject. The vendor shall meet the following minimum qualifications: demonstrated experience/past performance in performing similar services ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to managing and performing research involve human subject including but not limited to the HHSAR Clause 352-280-1(b), Protection of Human Subjects. It is anticipated that award of a purchase order will be around September 15, 2002, with a period of performance for twelve months from the date of award. A Request for Quotes (RFQ) and any amendments will be posted on the FedBizOpps website. Hardcopies of the RFQ and any amendments issued will not be mailed to potential vendors unless specifically requested in writing by e-mail to JGrace@cdc.gov). Requests should reference the RFQ number, state the name of the firm, name of requestor, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address.
