- Description
- This Notice is posted to comply with AIDAR 706.302-70(c)(1) and FAR 5.201. The Contracting Officer at USAID/CAR in Almaty, Kazakhstan has determined, in accordance with AIDAR 706.302-70(b)(5) and FAR 6.302-2, that The Pragma Corporation, under contract 116-C-00-00-00016, is providing highly specialized services, which must be continued until the award of a new contract to TBD, under RFP 176-02-003. Under the circumstances, full and open competition for the continuing requirement under 116-C-00-00-00016 is not feasible and would result in unacceptable delays. Award of the new contract is expected on or before August 30, 2002. Therefore, contract 116-C-00-00-00016 will be modified to revise the Statement of Work and benchmarks-results and increase the total estimated cost by $250,000. An additional $250,000 will be obligated. Proposals are not being requested and a solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS Code is 541611. Order of Magnitude Threshold: (Estimated) $250,000. Competition Level: N/A - Other than full and open competition. Numbered Note 22 is applicable.
