- Description
- NASA/LaRC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for 2 each Infrared Etalons consisting of 4 ZnSe plates, coated for approximately 88 percent reflectance at 9.48 microns on one side and anti-reflection coated on the other side. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See note 26. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 333314 and 500, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 1-208-RFH.1290 is on or about August 29, 2002, with an anticipated quote due date of on or about September 9, 2002. This is an unrestricted RFQ. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
